
Adventures in Art: Winter Landscapes
Adventures in Art offers a family-friendly deep dive into a famous work of art. The video led by Tami Wood, develops observation, critical thinking and visual literacy skills while encouraging creativity. Because it is a video, families can access it whenever and wherever they like, they can pause it, and re-watch it.

Tami Wood teaches at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Heckscher Museum of Art, the Cold Spring Harbor Library, the Cold Spring Harbor Nursery School, and Not Just Art. She has taught at the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Guggenheim Museum, the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, the International Center of Photography, the New-York Historical Society, the Museum of the City of New York, the South Huntington Public Library, the Port Washington Public Library, the Northport-East Northport Public Library, and the North Shore Public Library. Tami was recently invited to create a Teaching Artists Presents video focused on Looking at Art Together for the Kennedy Center, the country’s premier performing arts center in Washington, D.C.
