 The Port Washington Public Library has brought together some of fashion photography’s most iconic and recognized artists of the 20th and 21st century in a new immersive virtual gallery presentationThis two-part virtual exhibit, curated by Patty Sicular and Vanessa Nastro, will look at fashion’s artistic impact through the lens of photographers such as Erwin Blumenfeld, Melvin Sokolsky, Neal Barr, William HelburnAlexi LubomirskiAnthony Barboza, Chen Manand many more. Part exhibit, part visual and oral history, part documentary, these artists, representing 16 countries and covering more than 90 years of photographic retrospection, will reveal the stories behind their photographs in their own words. With video commentary by fashion curators, historians, and editorsThe Reflected Eye turns our attention to the mystery on the other side of the lens, the photographer.
