Sante D’Orazio

Photographer, Sante D’Orazio is celebrated throughout the advertising and fashion worlds for his raw yet beautiful images. With an alluring combination of seduction and celebrity D’Orazio’s world and vision is populated by the original and current Supermodels, Actresses, Actors and Rock Stars. 

Sante D’Orazio’s interest in art began while studying fine arts at Brooklyn College. Post-graduation, he was mentored by Lou Bernstein, a member of the New York Photo League, and worked under Philip Pearlstein, an American Contemporary painter. In 1981, D’Orazio began his fashion photography career working for Italian Vogue and was eventually noticed by Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine, leading to a storied career in the advertising and fashion world spanning 25 years. His photographs typically showcase nude actresses and supermodels, and their tone explores sensuality and fame in modern-day society. D’Orazio’s work has been featured in Vanity Fair, GQ, and Vogue, and has been exhibited in museums and galleries worldwide including Museums Haus de Kunst Munich, Kunst Haus Vienna, The Louvre Paris and LACMA LA and has shown in Galleries in New York, LA, Berlin, London and Tokyo.
