Along Manhasset Bay Walking Tour
Announcing the debut of the Along Manhasset Bay historical walking tour of Port Washington along Manhasset Bay, from Inspiration Wharf to Shore Road. Brought to you by the History Center at the Port Washington Public Library.
The Along Manhasset Bay walking tour app allows users to explore the rich history of the town of Port Washington at their own pace, either alone or with a group. The free app, which can be downloaded on any smartphone (Android or iPhone) utilizes GPS technology to pinpoint the user’s location and provide location-specific narration, photographs, and text. This project is made possible by a generous gift from the Virginia Marshall Martus Estate.
