On view January 3 through March 3
Each of Beverly Crilly’s works are journeys built in layers – full of contradictions, clean slates, experiments, memories, truths, and stories.
Oil paints and bars create wonderfully saturated color fields and marks, which are the groundwork of her pieces. Layers of color, texture and grit, masks, reveals, and adds dimension and depth to these foundations. Poured solvents dissolve layers to leave glimpses of what was vs. what remains.
