Keep your right to read!
Macmillan, one of the world’s largest publishing companies, no longer supports your right to get the books you want, when you want, from your local public library. Beginning November 1, they plan to limit each library to ONE COPY of new e-books for the first two months of release. Libraries–and only libraries–will be banned from buying the new e-books that you want to read. This unprecedented embargo hurts library patrons. Visit eBooksForAll.org to sign the petition. Post about it on social media. Share with friends and family, and fellow readers. Tell Macmillan that you want to keep your right to read!
