Awesome Story Time: This blog, written by a public children’s librarian, has great story time resources geared primarily for ages 3-5.
Day by Day NY: New York State’s Family Literacy website targets parents with young families, caregivers, library staff, and educators.
HCPL Story Time: The Harris County Public System’s story time page. Each theme has a recommended listing of books as well as notation of the level the story time is geared towards.
Jbrary: A blog for story time ideas and resources, including YouTube videos. Blog is written by two youth services librarians.
Mel’s Desk: Created and updated by a children’s librarian, this site has a wonderful collection of story time themes and ideas for a variety of age groups.
Preschool Express: A great site for finding songs and finger plays to do in story time.
Storytime Kate: Great story time ideas from a professional librarian.
Sunflower Storytime: Two librarians share their fantastic story time ideas.
Tell Me a Story: This site created by the King County Library System has hundreds of videos of librarians performing songs as well as listings of song lyrics. The videos and lyrics are broken down into themes, such as weather, animals and bugs. A great site to get some new story time ideas!
