Hoopla: Music, movies, TV, e-books, audiobooks and comics.
Nassau Digital Doorway: A county-wide eBook service supported by the public libraries of Nassau County. The collections contains thousands of eBooks ranging from adult to teen to children, with a wide range of fiction and non-fiction titles.
Tumblebooks Library: A combination of audio books and read-a-long digital picture books, this service brings books directly to your computer or mobile device without ever checking out a book.

Children’s Books Online – The Rosetta Project: Historic children’s books in a variety of different languages
International Digital Children’s Library: The goal of IDCL is to build a collection of books that represents outstanding historical and contemporary books from throughout the world.
Open Library: This project of the non-profit Internet Archive has over 200,000 titles of children’s and adult eBooks in PDF or ePub format.
Project Gutenberg: Free digital eBooks available for download anytime due to copyright expiration. Check out some children’s classics such as Alice in Wonderland or A Christmas Carol.
Unite for Literacy: Hundreds of online children’s books that can be translated into over a dozen languages.
