PWPL is proud to announce the launch of our Curbside Grab-and-Go service! Reserve any of your favorite library items (not just books!) online and, when they are ready, we will notify you to come by the library building for a contactless pickup out front. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am to 6 pm (hours subject to change). As per ALA and OCLC guidance, all returned library materials are quarantined for 96 hours to ensure safety.

PWPL is now accepting returned materials! Patrons can drop off any library items they have had at home these last few months (including materials on loan from other Nassau County libraries) at PWPL starting June 15. In accordance with CDC

As our community works together to get through the current COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to take a few moments to ask you some quick questions. The survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. Your responses will be vitally important

Just in time for LGBTQ+ Pride Month, the Port Washington Public Library has announced a virtual program about Manhattan’s Christopher Street. Taking place on Friday, June 5, “Christopher Street: A Gay City Within A City” will be hosted by Ron Brown, a professor of history and political science at Touro College. The program is free to all and will be held over teleconferencing platform Zoom.
